Offering a look behind the curtain of Australian politics, Secret City (2016) is a thriller-based television series, produced for Foxtel Australia by Matchbox Pictures.

Amidst rising tensions between China & the United States of America, Senior Political Journalist, Harriet Dunkley (Anna Torv), discovers a ‘secret city’ of interlocked conspiracies, putting innocent lives in danger – including her own. Working closely with Producer Joanna Werner, Director Emma Freeman and Cinematographer Mark Wareham, our post production team provided offline editorial facilities, grade, online, QC, deliverables and award-winning an opening title sequence.

Showcasing political and investigative drama at it’s finest, Secret City is a beautifully shot and graded series, polished by Senior Colourist, Dwaine Hyde. The series opens with titles designed by Creative Director Finnegan Spencer. Spencer delivered a suspense-filled title sequence which captured the cold, dark and twisted beauty of a foggy Canberra. These titles went on to win a PromaxBDA Awards for Best Program Title Design.
