  • Endemol Southern Star After 5 seasons providing high quality post production services, Cutting Edge undertook the provision of all OB services for series 6. A brand new HD capable fully digital facility was built for the 48 camera coverage of the Big Brother house and Amphitheatre. Australia’s most successful reality TV production was Cutting Edge’s first foray into reality TV. Based at Dreamworld on Queensland’s Gold Coast, Big Brother is housed in a purpose built, state of the art production and post production facility. As well as the extensive OB facilities and staffing, Cutting Edge supply 9 Avid systems, a Unity central storage, all ancillary equipment and all production and post production staff. Our Reality TV management team ensure the smooth daily operation and fast turnaround with the highest quality product. 

  • HELLS KITCHEN 
  • Granada UK After the success of 3 series of "I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here" for Granada UK & Germany, Cutting Edge were paid the ultimate compliment with an invitation to London to provide post production services on "Hells Kitchen". 8 key staff and 3.5 tonnes of equipment were shipped to London’s East End to provide 14 edit suites and the complete IT infrastructure to chef Gordon Ramsay’s reality TV experiment. A mouth watering success with the critics and a faultless event for Cutting Edge. 

  • I’M A CELEBRITY, GET ME OUT OF HERE 
  • Granada UK & Granada Germany Set initially in the wilds of North Queensland, Australia and then re-locating to Murwillumbah in the forests of northern NSW, "I’m a Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here" is reality TV on a massive scale. Over the past 6 years Cutting Edge have provided facilities for Granada UK and Germany and ABC America. Central to our facilities is the Avid shared storage with configurations from 8 to 21 Avid edit systems. Cutting Edge’s own Content Management System has been a key component and is installed and maintained as a part of the large remote area IT infrastructure.
