Vio-Pin

The artist asks the question “can a bowling pin, a symbol of the working-class, be transformed into fine art?” Through the juxtaposition of a bowling pin and a symbol of classical music – the violin – the artist explores the boundaries of traditional fine art. When tackling the challenge he drew inspiration from learning the violin as a child, drawing parallels to creative challenges throughout his life.
